Blackstone Valley Visitor Center
The Blackstone Valley Visitor Center is the first visitor center opened on the America's Heritage River System. The Center acts as a one-stop information resource for visitors and residents alike. More than 300 brochure holders allow visitors to quickly pick up information on local businesses and organizations. Other amenities include at hands-on relief map of the Blackstone River Valley watershed; an art gallery, a state-of-the-art theater, a museum shop that sells crafts from local artisans, a unique collection of books, specialty foods, and heritage products; access to local buses.
Hours: Year-round, Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Newport Visitors Center
Services include tourist assistance kiosks, maps & brochures, tickets to attractions, tours & events, room reservation assistance merchandise, public restroom, public phones, vending machines, ATM, post cards, change machine, stamps machine.
Parking: 30 minutes of free parking with validation available. Public parking garage is located adjacent to the Visitors Center but not operated by the Visitors Center. Discounted validated parking with use of public transportation. Public transportation hub for Rhode Island's Public Transport (RIPTA) at 401-781-9400. Interstate bus transportation to Boston at 401-846-1820 and to New York City at 888-751-8800.

Located at Ferry Landing in Old Harbor, this visitor center has restrooms, lockers, an ATM, maps and brochures. Staff members can help secure lodging and information about events and activities on the island. Daily updated information on lodging is available.
